Ethereal Rose in Fisch: bring your Candy Bucket to the green-numbered house

The Ethereal Rose comes from completing a Haunted House ghost encounter on Caustic Hallow during FischFright 3. Keep it for the Cemetery ritual chain: it is not a random Frightful Pool catch.

Requirements

Reach Caustic Hallow, accept FischFright 2026: Doomsekkar from the NPC beside the Cemetery and have the Candy Bucket received on arrival.

Catch the spirit

1. Wait for the haunted-house notification. Find the green number and text above its door; a normal house does not replace this signal.
2. Equip your Candy Bucket and knock. If prompted to hold it out, select it before interacting again.
3. When CATCH THE GHOST! begins, keep the light circle on the moving ghost until the meter fills.
4. After catching it, confirm that you received Ethereal Rose and the spirit objective registered 1/1.

Success sends you to a spirit area. Return using a Magic Mirror if you own one, or fish in that area's green whirlpool.

If the ghost escapes

Find another house with an active haunted alert or wait for the previous house's cooldown to finish. Starting the minigame does not count as completing it.

Editorial recommendation: equip the bucket before reaching the door, avoiding a delay when you find the encounter.

Checklist: quest active → green alert → bucket equipped → meter filled → rose received. The rose and rod are different unlocks: claiming the Doomsekkar Rod also requires finishing the other objectives and returning to the NPC.
