Fisch: Eldritch Rod requires cauldron levels, not a Treats purchase

Quick answer

Eldritch Rod unlocks at Hex Energy Level 11 in Beatrix’s Cauldron during FischFright 3. Gathering Treats does not replace that progress.

Requirements and steps

You need access to Caustic Hallow and Witch’s Ingredients, earned by completing goblin challenges.

1. Follow goblin spawn alerts; Navigate marks their location.
2. Read the objective and finish the challenge before its timer expires.
3. Bring ingredients to the cauldron beside Beatrix. Choose Offer Ingredient or Offer All Ingredients according to what you want to hand over.
4. Speak to Beatrix to check your stage and repeat until Level 11.
5. Check her reward and look for Eldritch Rod in Fishing Rods.

Mistakes and checks

Eleven levels does not mean eleven ingredients: do not confuse the stage with the number of offerings. If you are below 11, the cauldron still needs progress.

Editorial tip: avoid offering your entire stock if another quest also needs ingredients.

Checklist: challenges → ingredients → cauldron → stage 11 → rod in inventory.
