Quick answer
Put compatible food in your hotbar, approach the dinosaur on your ranch and use F on keyboard. Then check Belly: it must be over half full for growth to continue. Keeping food in storage is not the same as feeding the animal.
Requirements
You need a hatched dinosaur on your ranch and food suitable for its diet. Hunger affects growth after hatching; it does not fix an egg still waiting in the incubator.
Choosing food
Current references list Meat for 12 coins and Veggies for 8 at Bramble's Feed. Carnivores accept meat, herbivores vegetables, and omnivores both. Fish can also feed carnivores; do not assume every creature accepts it. Check the displayed price before buying.
Steps
- Identify the intended dinosaur's diet before buying a large quantity.
- Put compatible food in the hotbar and select it.
- Approach the ranch dinosaur and use F on keyboard; on other devices, follow the interaction shown by the game.
- Check the Belly change and feed again if it still does not exceed half.
- Check each creature you are raising; feeding one does not mean the whole ranch has been fed.
Why growth may still appear stuck
First check selected food, proximity and compatibility. Do not rely on a universal meal count: restoration per item is not sufficiently established to promise one portion is enough. Also distinguish the time needed to change stages from an immediate malfunction.
Practical decision
Editorial recommendation: try one portion on your chosen dinosaur before spending your entire balance on a diet. Then keep a care reserve; opening more eggs adds animals to look after rather than fixing existing hunger.
Success check and checklist
Compatible food selected, feeding interaction completed and Belly above half. Check the stage and progress over time: this condition enables growth but promises neither an instant transformation nor identical timing across rarities.
