1. Find the coffin room

Explore the maze until you find a room with a central coffin and eight graves around it. The route can vary, so recognize the room's layout instead of relying on a fixed series of turns.

2. Record all eight lives

Read each grave's symbol, birth date, and death date. Calculate the lifespan and write it beside the symbol. The riddle asks for the shortest lives: do not select the earliest death dates or the most recent births.

3. Sort the three lowest ages

Sort all eight results from lowest to highest. Keep the symbols from the first three graves in exactly that order. If two results look equal, check the full dates displayed on the graves before deciding.

4. Open the coffin

Use the arrows on Grave Lock slots I, II, and III to enter the three calculated symbols from left to right, then press Open. One recording shows broom, witch, and ghost, but that is only the example from that run; it is not a universal combination.

5. Complete the delivery

Collect the relic from the coffin and return to the elevator without being caught by Biter. Opening the coffin does not finish the quest: leaving with the relic is what should register progress and the Festering Felix badge.

Why it works

The clue compares how long each person lived. Two graves can have similar death years and very different ages, so sorting only by birth or death produces the wrong code.

Common mistakes

Do not copy symbols from a video, mix one grave's date with its neighbor, or leave without confirming the relic. If the coffin stays closed, check the subtraction first and then the shortest-to-longest order; random symbol changes make the mistake harder to find.
