Quick answer
The Biofuel Processor converts logs, pelts and compatible food into Biofuel for the campfire. Craft it at a level 3 Crafting Bench using 12 Wood and 12 Scrap. It is a conversion station: building it does not generate fuel by itself.
Requirements and materials
You need the upgraded bench, crafting materials and a supply of inputs to process. Do not confuse Wood, used in the recipe, with a log you can insert as raw material. Always check your session's displayed recipe before spending resources.
Getting started
- Open the level 3 bench and craft the Biofuel Processor.
- Place it somewhere accessible near the campfire without blocking team routes.
- Insert a log or compatible food into the intake and observe whether the machine accepts it.
- Collect the produced Biofuel and take it to the campfire.
- Confirm the fuel enters and raises the indicator before processing a large reserve.
What to process
Carrots from Farm Plots can also be used. Editorial recommendation: first separate player meals and materials needed for trading or crafting, then process surplus. A pelt may have another use, and spending all your food on the fire merely exchanges one problem for another.
Not automatic production
The processor needs inputs. It is not the same as Oil Drill, a different structure that produces barrels periodically. Even if you move the output near the fire to reduce trips, watch the result: feeding the machine once does not mean the campfire stays fueled indefinitely.
Mistakes and success check
If no Biofuel appears, check the material and intake contact before throwing in more objects. If fuel appears but the fire does not rise, check that it reaches the campfire. No universal conversion ratio or fixed duration is given: do not treat different inputs as equivalent without checking them.
Checklist
Level 3 bench; recipe checked; accessible intake; food reserved; first Biofuel collected; campfire indicator checked. Expand the workflow only after understanding that first cycle.
