When to join
The official Adopt Me calendar lists the final 2D Tuesday session on October 20. Its window is 23:00–00:00 UTC, from Tuesday October 20 into Wednesday October 21; in Mexico City, that is Tuesday October 20, 5–6 PM. The listing includes technical seconds; times here are displayed to the minute.
What you get—and what you do not
During the session you receive a temporary 2D Kitty, giving 2x Bucks and XP. Completing 20 needs on that pet earns a 2D Box. The box can contain several rewards, including a permanent 2D Kitty: receiving the temporary pet or finishing its needs does not guarantee the permanent version. The announcement provides no percentages.
How to participate
- Join the official experience and check its 2D Tuesday notice.
- Identify the event's temporary 2D Kitty.
- Meet its needs as they appear until you complete the required 20.
- Check that you receive the 2D Box, then inspect its reward when opening it.
One box, not three weekly attempts
The creator also lists sessions at 12 AM, 8 AM and 4 PM Pacific. On October 20, under US Pacific daylight saving time, these correspond to 1 AM, 9 AM and 5 PM in Mexico City. Choose a convenient session: the announcement says that once you get your box, the event will not appear again until the following week. The linked calendar entry marks that day's last opportunity, not three boxes per account.
Mistakes to avoid
Do not complete another pet's needs expecting them to count toward this objective. Do not confuse the temporary pet's benefits with permanent ownership. If you already collected your weekly box, joining another session does not unlock another under the announced rules. These are rewards inside Adopt Me, not accessories for your general Roblox avatar.
Before starting: check the notice's date, allow time to meet needs and confirm that you are using the event Kitty. Receiving the box is the success check; opening it is a separate stage whose result can vary.
